Hello. This is my personal little hidey-hole on the internets. My name, if you don’t already know, is Phil Powell.
I’ve worked in the creative and digital media industry for the past 10 years. I’ve worked on all sorts of projects – large and small.
I’m now a co-founder of We Make Media, a small media production company with big aspirations, based in the beautiful Furness Peninsula in South Cumbria, UK.
I work across many different disciplines: filmmaking, design and programming. I also lecture and provide seminars.
This blog is where I share my ideas, thoughts and semi-coherent ramblings.

Along the way I’ve picked up some awards, including a Cannes Lion. I’ve also received a BAFTA nomination. And just recently, I’ve become Phil Powell RSA, as I’m proud to be a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
